Dublin announced as host city for RadioDays Europe 2014

Irish radio stations have united to welcome 1200 radio broadcasters to Dublin. Radiodays Europe, the world´s largest international radio conference, will be held in Dublin next year. The conference, which attracts 1200 delegates annually, will be held in Ireland on the 23-25 March 2014 in Dublin’s Convention Centre.

Radiodays Europe is welcomed to Dublin by the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland, and RTÉ, who will jointly host the conference which will be run in association with BBC Northern Ireland.

Anders Held, Project Manager, Radiodays Europe, said: “In previous years we have brought RadioDays Europe to Copenhagen, Barcelona and Berlin. Dublin is a wonderful destination and the venue is state of the art and suitable for Radiodays Europe. This, and the dedication of our Irish radio partners, will make sure that Radiodays Europe 2014 will be an extraordinary experience.Radiodays Europe is an annual pan-European radio conference for leaders from public service and commercial radio as well as related industries, and is the largest and most important radio conference in Europe. Forward focused, the conference looks at developments in programming and formats, audience behaviour, digital platforms and business models.
